The multifactorial nature of the risk

Takeheart does the following tests on you: History, Weight and Height, Blood pressure, Peak flow rate, Cholesterol and GGT (from a finger prick), Carbon monoxide, Stress assessment .

Quality control

Takeheart subscribes to the Wolfson External Quality Assurance Scheme. There are quality assurance routines incorporated into the software. The operators are qualified.

Counselling

This is done by entering information gathered from you and your test results into a lap top computer. By means of an expert system resident in the computer a report is written for you to take away (515).
The report is authoritative, in ordinary language, in depth and seven or eight A4 pages long.
