JR Ashwellthorpe - The N&N Hospital must remain in the city centre.

MC - Must be kept in Norwich.

SC - Ditto and MPs should listen.

YD Norwich - Keep it in Norwich it is situated or should be kept in the centre of the city.

JM Norwich - Spend money wisely and save the hospital at Norwich, it is a disgrace to the Capital of East Anglia where our money is spent.

LAJ Norwich

SP Norwich - Keep it in Norwich as it is closer to local people and it will be a waste of money moving it.

JEF - Exhibition good. Should get the needed everyone agreed. Leave the N&N where it is - has served us well.

HWR - The hospital needs to stay in Norwich city for convenience - many elderly people worry about it being moved elsewhere. Money is not the issue but what the public require - a hospital in the city centre!

EP Norwich - Best place - easier access etc. Nowhere else needs to be spoilt to put a hospital where the majority of people do not want it.

JG - It is where the people want it.

AK Norwich - It needs to stay where everyone can use it, not just those with access to cars. Dependence on the car does not encourage good health either for the user or those who live with it.

AK Norwich - It is an absolute scandal to move the hospital.

Mr & Mrs A Reepham - Keep it in Norwich for the people's sake.

J & RE - Hospital needs to be central.

Mr & Mrs D Wymondham - The hospital needs to be within access.

CD - Hospital needs to be in the heart of the community - what about your public transport service?

JB - Staff will be unable to get childcare to start early enough to enable them to get to Colney Lane site.

GH Norwich - I am asthmatic. I need the hospital close at hand.

RH Norwich - It is stupid to move as some people have no transport to get to new hospital.

BW Norwich - The majority of people appreciate that only the present N&N site can adequately meet all the needs and criteria for a new hospital serving Norwich and Norfolk. Access is the critical factor and for most people it should be at affordable cost.
"Those whom the Gods wish to destroy they first make mad".

JS Hempnall - The new hospital should be kept in the city centre. Apart from convenience the N&N is served by public transport. The Colney site will encourage more car usage and less convenient for those without private transport. It will also spoil countryside - refurbish the N&N expand in Norwich.

ST Norwich - Let the people who will use it decide!!

R & IC Norwich - Keep the hospital near, not out in the sticks!

JPW - Keep the hospital in Norwich centre.

JET - The hospital should be in Norwich with improved parking.

JB Woodton - Like everyone else keep it where it is. The likes of people like me from the country would have difficulty with transport.

PB Woodton - Same as above.

P & SH Norwich - The hospital should remain on its present site because of access - don't spoil another rural area. Bus and rail links are already in place for all those from rural Norfolk.

SEC - Keep hospital in the city centre not miles away.

BH Norwich - Please keep hospital in city centre.

SB - The elderly need easy access so please keep it where it is.

SJL - Keep where it is as there are a lot of people without cars who live outside Norwich.

JM - Keep it where it is.

LP Bacton - Keep it central!

MG Norwich - How are we going to get there?

J & GY Norwich - We need it in Norwich - we should be trying to lessen traffic not increase it.

PS Norwich - Colney is being done on the cheap, insufficient beds etc.

JL Sprowston - Bad plans, as above.

SYS - Keep it central.

LC Norwich

GS Norwich

KMW Barton Turf

DB Norwich

AG Norwich

DM Norwich - Listen to the people and keep the N&N in Norwich where it is.

MD Norwich - Keep the hospital central for the people.

EW North Walsham - It makes a lot more sense to keep the present hospital than spend a lot of money for a smaller less accessible hospital.

B & TR Aylsham - Keep the hospital in Norwich as well as one at Colney.

D & RN - Keep it in city.

MP - Keep in Norwich.

C & TP - Listen to the people who live here. Lets not create a ghost town!!!

FH Norwich - Ditto!

DHJ Norwich - Most of us want the hoispital in Norwich. Please listen to us for a change.

CHP Sprowston - Keep it in Norwich.

IR Norwich - Loss of trade to shops, more traffic in the Colney area.

SB Lingwood - Keep N&N.

RDM Norwich - A bit of extension would help + continue with Colney.

MCM Norwich - Many local people cannot afford to get to this new hospital. Keep our N&N in Norwich!

MA Oulton - How are people in rural areas dependent on public transport to get to Colney? Estimated time of bus travel to and from N&N 3-4hrs (including visits to sick and treatment).

JM Norwich - It is much easier for everyone if it is central. Also a lot of money has alredy been spent on redevelopment.

CE Norwich - Keep the hospital in the city. It is then accessible to everyone.

JS Norwich - The hospital is a community building and should stay in the community. The people should be consulted.

NS Norwich - Keep the hospital in Norwich near the city centre where it is needed and wanted. If you used the money to subsidise public transport you'd be making money rather than wasting it!!!

ES Norwich - KEEP the hospital. People of Norwich allowed to voice their own opinions.

JG Norwich - As an architect that has worked on hospital design in Scandinavia for most of my life I find the proposals for Colney very out-dated. The designs outlined by Michael Innes are efficient in regard to modern practice and also in respect to environmental issues.

? Norwich - The city for the people's hospital.

OE & VJC Long Stratton - What a stupid idea to build outside Norwich.

JRH Norwich - The proposed site has no infrastructure.

Mr & Mrs REB Norwich - Old people + people with young families need a hospital easily accessible within Norwich city centre - plus it is far more convenient for accident & emergencies.

Mr & Mrs KCW Spixworth - It is the only realistic option.

Mr & Mrs ABJ Norwich - It is only common sense! To redevelop the N&N site. The only problem is too many people lack it.

EB Necton - I live out in the country. To visit the N&N hospital entails a bus drive. I have no car. One long bus drive is sufficient. I do not wish to drive into Norwich and then out again on another bus.

LO Norwich - The people who need the hospital most and the staff who work there will get the worst end of it. Who will get the benefits I wonder?

T & VK Norwich - Absolutely needed in Norwich for everybody. Please take note of the people's needs and wishes.

BB North Burlingham - The hospital should be redesigned and kept on its present site.

SB - The hospital is in the best site now. Refurbish the building instead of tearing up more countryside.

DS - Keep it where it should be, not for the fat cats but general public.

LC Norwich - A city of this size must have its hospital in the centre, redevelopment is needed but keep it where it is.

BP Hethersett - 2 hospitals needed. Part Colney/N&N.

VW Hellesdon - Keep a hospital in Norwich.

LS Horsford - The new refurbished hospital should remain in the city centre, extra land now available at the Nestlé site (we have been let down by our new Labour MPs).

SB - As an employee of the hospital and a citizen of the City of Norwich I strongly believe it should stay put.

CP - I think it stinks, it should be kept in Norwich.

TP - Keep it where it is.

BL - It makes common sense and economical sense.

AF - Keep it where it is.

SB - Put people before profit.

BJR - Keep it where it is.

LR - Keep it where it is.

DJ - Keep it in Norwich.

BS Norwich

W,S,MB Norwich

TN Norwich

JWS Taverham

DWB - Must keep hospital in city.

PL Norwich

BH Norwich

CB Hethersett - Keep it in the city centre. Listen to the people.

BL - Keep it central for everyone's convenience.

PR Norwich - Keep it!

HW - Convenience, why not spend the money on the N&N instead of Colney.

BK - Keep it.

? + ? - Think of people first!

JA - Should be a community hospital.

YP - Ditto.

WK Norwich - I live near the hospital and visit it often. It will be hard to go to the new one.

J & PGS Norwich - Lets be united and keep our goals in sight.

SE Hethersett - Why spend so much on ? new, when there is a perfectly good old one that could be made better?

LAS Cringleford - Keep our city hospitals and keep our greenfields green.

JG Norwich

SY Norwich - Clean the city river up for our future generations can enjoy - plus it would bring tourism into Norwich which means more money going into businesses also possibly creating more jobs!

MA Norwich - We must not let the money grabbers win! Only good sensible option is to keep hospital in city! Fight on!

ER Norwich - It is easy, it is handy and it is an ideal place, so lets keep it. Hands off!!!!

HT Norwich - Why not put £1million into a hospital we have already got?

AJA Norwich - The hospital we have is in a perfect position and having been a person who regularly uses it the only thing it needs is more money.

GG Sprowston - Near and handy for most people.

DG Hellesdon - Leave it where it is!!!

AB Norwich - Leave it alone. Keep in Norwich.

PB Norwich - I don't believe in franchise.

BG Norwich - What about ? patients?

E & RT Taverham - Leave the hospital where it is.

Mrs A - Don't touch the hospital, leave it where it is.

CH - Leave it where it is please.

MW - It belongs in Norwich.

AS - Norwich needs its hospital where it is. It brings trade to the city.

RC Norwich - Leave the hospital in the city. A casualty department should not be out of a city centre.

SW Norwich - As a mother of a patient I need the hospital in the city.

JMW Norwich - Please keep the hospital on the present site. Perhaps car park could be restricted to staff use only and park and ride schemes used by the public. Voters should not be over-ridden by private commercial interests.

M,A,TW Thurlton - We believe that the "N&N Hospital" should remain in Norwich so that it is accessible to everyone on public transport rather than being only accessible to car owners or a limited bus service. It is also a waste of a "green field site" to use the alternative. The present site is near all facilities.

TP Norwich - By far the majority of our 7,400 patients would prefer to see the present N&N site developed rather than a new hospital at Colney - mainly because of difficulty of access but also because of the time involved in getting there (time = money).

GW - We would be able to get to this hospital better if a car park could be built with spare ground.

EZ Thorpe - What a foolish concept to have a city hospital outside the city. Keep it where it is please, where it belongs and where the people of Norwich and Norfolk want it.

BC Sprowston - Feel strongly hospital should stay in Norwich.

JH Thorpe

SJ Thorpe - Feel strongly hospital should stay where it is.

ST Upper Tasburgh - It is absurd to move a very good hospital where £millions have been spent already. If it needs more parking - build a multi-storey or below ground.

DT Norwich - The hospital should be redeveloped on site, its place is in the city of Norwich.

PT Norwich - Redevelop on site, where the focal centre and population is.

SM Norwich

Mr & Mrs D Norwich - 2 artificial hips and a pacemaker. How shall I get from Magdalen Street to Colney?
