PM Norwich - My twins spent 4 weeks in SCBU at the N&N and we had the ability to walk to see them and combine it with work - that would be impossible at Colney. The hypocrisy of Blair preaching to the Earth Summit about reducing the need to travel and sanctioning Colney beggars belief.

HE Newton St Faiths - Leave it where it is. It will cause minimum fuss to upgrade the present site. It is in the perfect position at the moment. We don't want it at Colney.

CM Norwich - We've learned that out of town shops don't serve people's needs and an out of town hospital will be even worse. Experience with the John Radcliffe in Oxford shows that it is inconvenient and difficult and expensive for those without cars and for those with cars can rarely park as the site is expanded on. A hospital has to serve all its people. Expanding on the existing site makes much more sense.

LS Wymondham - Why spoil a natural environment for wildlife and future generations, ie my grandchildren, to build a white elephant when we have a fine hospital in the centre of the city that caters for all wherever they live. It is shortsightedness of the hierarchy!!!!

PP Norwich - I work at the John Innes Institute, over 700 staff and the amount of disruption to not only Institute but to Norwich Research Park. Also it is going to be a smaller capacity hospital as regards beds. Transport difficulties as well.
